The design:
The Muyan Tile Motif is a modern twist on a vintage lace stitch worked in a diamond tile from the centre out. The motifs are joined using a join as you go (JAYG) method, full instructions included. Muyan Tile Motif is an intermediate level pattern that requires focus, concentration and counting.

Materials needed:
The Muyan Tile motif was designed using a 4 ply/fingering weight yarn. The finished size of the motif is 12cm square using a 3mm hook and 45m of 4-fach Lola. I am using the Swan Lake colour way from Yarnish.com.au
My completed sample was made from 16 squares and measured 50cm square.
You can however use any weight yarn you would like.
Stitch markers.
Wool/darning needle.
Recommended Hook size:
3-3.5 mm for 4ply
3.5-4 mm for 8ply
4-4.5mm for 10ply
6-6.5 mm for 12 ply.
Or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
