January 2020: Muyan Tile Motif

The design:
The Muyan Tile Motif is a modern twist on a vintage lace stitch worked in a diamond tile from the centre out. The motifs are joined using a join as you go (JAYG) method, full instructions included. Muyan Tile Motif is an intermediate level pattern that requires focus, concentration and counting.

Muyan Tile is an easy/intermediate level pattern.

Materials needed:
The Muyan Tile motif was designed using a 4 ply/fingering weight yarn. The finished size of the motif is 12cm square using a 3mm hook and 45m of 4-fach Lola. I am using the Swan Lake colour way from Yarnish.com.au
My completed sample was made from 16 squares and measured 50cm square.
You can however use any weight yarn you would like.
